***MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE SYMBOLON***

 Now that Alex and Cassandra are together and the threat of their enemy gone, they can concentrate on their upcoming wedding. Alex requests approval for an immortal marriage from the Ancient Council. When the Council convenes though, things turn for the worse. Unexpected, Paolo, speaking on behalf of his sister Kristiana, petitions that the Council recognize that Alex is still married to Kristiana, and all ties to Cassandra be illegal and punishable with death. Until Kristiana can be found, and their marriage dissolved, Alex and Cassandra are never to see or contact each other. Can Alex find Kristiana or will it be the end for him and Cassandra?

I thought this book would begin with them getting married. I was getting so excited as the day drew near, and then…pow…blindsided! I did like the way the story unfolded though. The author did a wonderful job of drawing me into Paolo’s side of the story. I actually started pulling for him. Then…pow…again? Come on book 3!
