***MY HONEST REVIEW OF Buried Threads***

Rachel and Chase accept a diving job in Japan. They’ve been hired by a monk, to secretly retrieve a set of swords that were buried in an unknown tomb now under water. Once they arrive, the local mobster takes an interest in them. Even after keeping a low profile, they discover that there’s as much danger on land as there is under the sea.

I was disappointed that there wasn’t as much underwater action as there was in the first book. Even so, there was enough adventure there to satisfy me, especially the sinister aspect of it. It was interesting trying to keep up with the different Japanese names and titles. I now know a great deal more about that culture than I did at the start. I like how Rachel’s personality was more developed by the end of the book. I think that will make the next chapter for their relationship a more interesting read.

About the Author

Kaylin McFarren is a rare bird indeed. Not a migratory sort, she prefers to hug the West Coast and keep family within visiting range. Although she has virtually been around the world, she was born in California, relocated with her family to Washington, and nested with her husband in Oregon. In addition to playing an active role in his business endeavors, she has been involved in all aspects of their three daughters' lives - taxi duties, cheerleading coaching, script rehearsals, and relationship counseling, to name but a few. Now she enjoys spending undisciplined time with her two young grandsons and hopes to have many more.
