How to Train Your Puppy or Dog Using Three Simple Strategies (FUN and FAST!) by [Zepke, Terrance]
Raising a puppy is wonderful, rewarding, fun, and exhausting. Much like a baby, a puppy demands a great deal of your time and attention. It is important to train them as soon as possible to obey your commands. It is crucial that your puppy knows that you are in charge. Otherwise, your puppy will take charge and you do not want that!

If you read books written by some experts, the information can be overwhelming. This is because they give you too much information. Learn how to easily and quickly train any breed of puppy or dog by discovering three simple strategies. Plus, she shares lots of resources and plenty of advice and helpful tips, as well as some fun trivia.
*Learn about all the stages of puppyhood and what to expect.
*Discover what household items are toxic to your dog.
*Find out how to quickly potty train your puppy.
*Learn all you need to know about positive reinforcement and how to redirect your puppy to stop unwanted behavior.

*Discover three training strategies that every puppy owner needs to know.
...and much more!

MY REVIEW

This is a rundown of what worked for the author in training her own puppy. While she explained a couple of other ways, she relays that she does not have any actual experience with them, only the ones she stated. The different stages of a puppy’s age is broken down, making it easy to see the different characteristics that one will go through and what to expect at each stage. There is also a list of foods that can poison your puppy, as well as a few fun dog facts to learn. Ms. Zepke’s rules or strategies as she calls them, are remembered as the three C’s, crate, clap, and click. I won’t go into them, you’ll just have to read the book to know what it’s talking about.

This was a short read, but packed full of good information. Ms. Zepke really did make it sound easy. When she listed things that the pup could get into, I could tell she was speaking from actual experience. I have never noticed before how a tired puppy can get fussy the same way a baby or toddler does, but it is logical. I appreciated the tips that were included. And the humorous dog quotes dispersed throughout had me smiling with each one I read.
